Use this page to change your user contact information including your user name and email address.
- Security Settings
This page lets you change your password and folder sharing preferences. You are required to type in your current password before you can change
your password. If you have forgotten your password, try the password retrieval page.
You can change your default folder sharing preferences. This is only the default value for all new folders created. You can over-ride this
setting on a per-folder basis from the folder edit page. If you check the box to reset all your folders, then all your folders will be changed to
match the option you just selected.
- User Preferences
This page allows you to change many options of your account.
- Bookmark/Folder sort order: You can choose to have your bookmarks and folders
sorted in several different ways. The default is alphabetical.
- Default Display Mode: Pick the default display mode each time you login. See
Viewing Your Bookmarks
for more information and screen shots of the display modes.
- Open Bookmarks In: This setting adjusts the behavior when you click on a bookmark. This
setting does nothing for WebTV users. You can choose to have your bookmarks open a new window, use the
same new window for every bookmark (keeps the main window open), or use the current window for all bookmarks.
- Default sidebar size: This lets you set the default width for the sidebar (when in Tree mode).
Pressing the left and right arrows on the "My Bookmarks" page only changes the size of the sidebar for the current
session. It reverts back to this value the next time you log on.
- Column Preferences: When viewing bookmarks, these 3 columns (visits, rating and created) can optionally be
displayed for each bookmark. The default for new users is to not show any of them.
- Email Preferences: This lets you choose if you want to receive weekly email with the status of your collection
and/or occasional announcements about this site.
